Hi Stampers, this project was originally published in 2011. It was designed with the Stampin Up Owl Builder Punch and various other punches.
My base is Whisper White Card Stock. I then added a thin layer of Basic Black. Next, I used the Spider Web Textured Impressions Folder on a Tangerine Tango piece of card stock. I love, love my impressions folders!
To create the moon in the middle of the black I used the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to punch out a circle in the corner of the black square. I then used Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango Classic Ink pads and a sponge to sponge my moon. You can make it more or less colorful depending on the amount of sponging.
To create the fence I used the Word Window Punch. I punch at least 5 Soft Suede word windows. I cut two of them in half for my fence. You’ll notice I did add a bit of sponging to all my brown pieces. I felt this gave the project a bit more depth and interest. I glued two word windows together long ways so that I had more room for the fence.
Check out the cut little owl… now I added his wings. I used the Scallop Oval punch and cut the ends off to add the wings. I did sponge them too.
The greeting is from the Stampin Up Grateful Greetings stamp set. That’s it! Mr. Owl wishes you a Whoot of a Halloween!!!

Hi Natasha,
Thank you for stopping by and for leaving a comment. I do appreciate it! Yes, I am sad to see the bat punch go; however, for those of you who don’t own him yet he is on the clearance rack. Thanks again and have a great weekend! Brandy
I love this one, Brandy! Great job!
I love your card! I like the way you sponged the white circle – I was simply cutting a yellow circle, but I like your idea better! I have the spider web folder and I love it!
Thank you for sharing!
