Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! We trust that you have had a good year and that the Lord has blessed you as he has us.
We’ve had so much fun this year!!! We were able to visit my mother and grandmother in Michigan twice, in June and August. We enjoyed taking the boys to the beach and giving Tyler his first fishing lesson on Singer Lake, near where I (Brandy) grew up.
Tyler turned three in November and he surprises us everyday! He goes to preschool twice a week and really likes it! He’s a “super beast” at the Little Gym… which is basically a padded room full of things he can leap off and run around like a crazy man. Tyler loves to stamp with mommy, wrestle with daddy and play with his matchbox cars. Doug and I enjoy teaching Tyler new words and watching him learn and grow. He’s so much fun!!!
Dylan turned one in November! He’s so curious… You can’t leave the room for two seconds before Dylan has found the toilet, eaten cat food or pulled all the books off the shelf… for the twenty-fifth time that morning. It’s been fun watching him learn to walk; he explores a little farther and reaches a little bit higher each day. Dylan loves to cuddle with mommy, wrestle with daddy and play with his big brother.
Doug has really enjoyed his new Cox Group office building. He traveled to several events this year for work and in September was able to join his college roommates at Hilton Head for a weekend of golf. He still enjoys shooting photography for work as well as the boys. He created a new blog for one of his fishing clients called thedailycrank.com. They have been very happy with it and he’s had fun writing and building it.
As for me, I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with Tyler and Dylan. You only get one chance to raise great children.
Besides chasing my kiddos around I have become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I love it!!! I enjoy making hand made invitations, cards, and selling their products. I hold monthly “stamp camps” where my fellow stampers gather for fellowship and lots of stamping and card making. I have a new blog as well for my new business, www.brandyscards.com. Another highlight of my year was traveling to New York, Chicago and Louisville while working gigs for JobBoss, Sigma and Western Star as a presenter. It was a blast and I am looking forward to a few more bookings this coming year.
This season, we are reminded of how blessed we all are. We hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Love,
Doug, Brandy, Tyler and Dylan
