I love to give cards as a gift; therefore, I wanted to design a quick and easy card holder. This one holds 4 cards and 4 envelopes. Its super cute and pretty easy. I tried to keep it simple. I challenged myself to use only Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler and Soft Suede ink and card stock. The second part of my challenge was to use only the Stampin Up Patterned Occasion stamp set. When you open this cute card holder, inside you’ll find four matching cards all designed with the Stampin Up Patterned Occasions stamp set. Below you’ll find each card and its details.
This was a fun card to make. I used the Chevron embossing folder and embossed both the Cherry Cobbler and Whisper white. Using my paper snips, I cut the up the zig zag on the Cherry Cobble paper. I then matched it with the white chevron and glued it down. It really dressed up the look of this card. I also added a mini silver brad to the Smarty Pants so that it would add a bit of interest to them. I loved how it turned out!
This card is very cute! Honestly, I can’t get over the fact that it just reminds me of a baby card; however, its intended as a “Thank You.” Here again, I stayed with the color scheme using only Soft Suede, Whisper White and Baja Breeze. I added a couple mini silver brads for interest.
I really liked this little band-aid. This time of year you can’t have enough “Get Well” cards on hand. The base of this card is Whisper White and texture with the Square Lattice die. Yes, I use it often… its my favorite! I layered up a cherry cobbler and baja breeze rectangles. The card featured the band-aids stamped in Soft Suede. I also stamped a baja breeze band-aid and cute it out. I used our small heart punch to add the heart.
Lastly, I used the “Whole Latte Love” stamp and made a duplicate of the cover. I just can’t get over how cute this little cup is. I have had so much fun designing cards with it. You’ll notice on the cover of our card holder, I added several small pearls. It appears as though I forgot to add them to this card; however, I will. It really dresses it up and adds that final touch.
