World Card Making Day - In Person Event

Oct. 4-5, 2024

What is Brandy's BWE Event?

Brandy’s BWE event is an in-person event held the first week of October in 2024 that coincides with World Card Marking Day. This event will be two days of crafting fun will fellow crafters from all over the country. 

There are limited seats available so if you decide to join us, you want to register as soon as you can to reserve your spot!

Here is a list of things you may expect during this event

Cancellation Policy

We have to secure the banquet space along with hotels, so this is a big committment for Brandyscards.  So following is our cancellation policy.

Cancel before August 4th, 2024 – Full Refund (minus 3% for credit card fees)

Cancel before Sept. 13th, 2024 – 50% Refund (minus 3% for credit card fees)

No refunds past Sept 14th, since prizes, product, projects, food and labor will be all paid for by then.

Swap Information

Make 15 cards following guidelines listed below:

  • All swaps must have at least 1 layer and 1 embellishment
  • Must be a FULL-SIZED CARD (not a card front/postcard, or mini card)
  • All products used MUST BE CURRENT (Stamp Sets or Bundles from the 2024- 2025 Annual Catalog or 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog) nothing retired/retiring or non-Stampin’ Up!
  • Do not put any personalized markings on the card
  • Please put each card in a clear envelope to protect your beautiful creations. No need to include other envelopes. Please DO NOT SEAL the clear envelopes, this way the recipient can reuse them!
  • Include either a business card, piece of paper or a sticky note inside each clear card envelope with your name, so the recipient knows who it is from
  • Place all 15 cards into a gallon ziploc bag with your name on the bag, and bring with you to the Team Event. We will sort and return to you during the day

By participating in this swap you are giving permission for those in the swap to use your card for classes, workshops, social media and websites without stating your name.

Make-n-Take Supplies

In order to complete the make-n-takes, you will need to bring the following items with you:

  • Paper Trimmer
  • Bone Folder
  • Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals
  • Adhesive of Choice
  • Scissors

Shoe Box Swap Information

Time: We will set up & start stamping following dinner at the Embassy Suites

Please check-in BEFORE leaving the room for dinner and leave your shoe-box in the designated area.

Stamping will end at 9pm, unless everyone is done prior to that. Please plan on staying, or leaving your project until 9pm so no one feels rushed.


  • All cards must have at least 1 layer and 1 embellishment/ribbon
  • Must be a FULL-SIZED CARD
  • All products used MUST BE CURRENT (from 2024-2025 Annual Catalog or Sept-Dec Mini Catalog)


  • All pieces for your project should be cut and placed into a Stampin’ Up! Envelope, ready for each person to create
  • Bring all stamps, inks, dies, everything needed for your project in a “box” so that you can set it up at a “station.” If things can be pre-punched, or pre-die cut, please do so to make it easier for people to complete your project.
  • Please put all stamps needed on a clear block
  • Ribbon/Embellishments can be in the “box” and not individual envelopes


  • Prepare enough for 15 people to make your projects
  • PLUS bring TWO complete samples of your card. Place both completed cards into Stampin’ Up! Clear Envelopes. One will stay with your project for participants to “copy” and the other will be put on display for everyone to see


  • Paper Trimmer, Scissors
  • Bone Folder
  • Adhesive: Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals, Adhesive of Choice, Scissors
