Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Papaya Collage stamp set. This card is subtle, but yet, elegant and calm. I absolutely fell in love with this stamp set and design. What I like most about this card is the chalkboard effect. Doesn’t it look like the images were drawn with chalk?
Instead of chalk, I used whisper white craft ink to stamp my images and sentiment on a basic black piece of card stock. After I stamped my images , I used a Stampin’ Up! sponge to sponge a bit of white ink around the open areas. I wanted it to look like it was a chalk board with chalk dust left over. Pretty Cool, Right!
Lastly, I felt like this card needed an embellishment or lift. So I stamped a few extra butterflies on scrap paper. I used both the elegant butterfly punch and the bitty butterfly punch to punch and layer a beautifully embellished butterfly to add to both the inside and to the front of my card.

Ooooh. You are so great with your cards! Love this. Never would have thought to use this set (nature, my fav) for a chalkboard card. The torn edge sets it off perfectly. Thanks Brandy!
