Inspiration
Inspiration is all around us and, in this case, it’s at the tip of our hands. Open your Stampin’ Up! catalog to page 62. Check out the card in the upper left hand corner. My card was inspired by the beautiful card that Stampin’ Up! so kindly shared.
Frame and Masking
The frame was stamped on Whisper White using a Crushed Curry stamp pad. I then used my Stampin’ Up! trimmer to cut the edges. I used my envelope punch board corner round to round my corners.
I used a post-it note to mask off my frame so I could stamp coastal cabana flowers. I really didn’t want the stem to show around the base of the frame. After I stamped the flowers in the frame, I stamped the cut circle portion in Early Espresso.
Butterfly
I stamped my butterfly on Crisp Cantaloupe card stock using Crisp Cantaloupe ink. Then, I cut it out as a whole. I didn’t cut the wing apart. I left a small section in the middle so that it was easier to work with.
Background Stamp
To add interest and design my own background, I used a Coastal Cabana ink pad and stamped the small rose from the Papaya Collage stamp set all over my Pool Party base.
Products Used Include:
- 1″ Circle Punch
- Jewel Rhinestones
- 7/8″ Circle Scallop Punch
- Crushed Curry Stamp Pad
- Crisp Cantaloupe Stamp Pad
- Coastal Cabana Stamp Pad
- Early Espresso Stamp Pad
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Pool Party Card Stock
- Early Espresso Card Stock
- Papaya Collage Stamp Set
- Express Yourself Stamp Set
Size and Dimensions Include:
- 4-1/4″ x 11″ Pool Party (Base)

- 7/8″ Pool Party or Coastal Cabana Scalloped Circle

I just found you and look forward to your emails. I love the way you explain things and I love your imagination and ideas. I’ve been stamping for about 8 years now and find it very relaxing and I say it’s my therapy. I usually stamp in the evenings as they get very lonely since my husband passed away. I am 75 years old but I feel young in my heart! Thanks again and have a wonderful day. Looking forward to your blogs.!

Awesome cards, I have put that stamp set on my wish list.
Thanks
Love love love your videos…..learn a new technique from each one…thank you so much for your pointers…..keeping it clean makes a lovely card.
I love the way you teach! You always come up with something that I wasn’t expecting, or hadn’t thought about. Today, I love the way you used the new envelop punch board as a corner rounder. I also enjoyed seeing the masking technique. It was a great way to make the frame border stand out, making it look like it was another layer. And as always, I really enjoyed seeing how you packaged them to make them a perfect gift.
Great video! Thanks.
Very nice card Brandy, and the Envelop Punch Board is already on my list of next purchases, now I can see Papaya Collage looks mighty tempting also. I will be placing an order very soon. I look forward to all your videos but they are getting to be very expensive, because I want all the tools you used. 🙂

What a delightful card! So often I find myself using just one or two stamps from a set per card . . . but the detail of multiple stamps layered on one card is a challenge I’d like to take on ~ Thanks!
