This card was designed with the Stampin Up Flower Fest Stamp Set from the Summer Mini Catalog. At first I wasn’t too excited about this stamp set. However, as I began to play with it I had a BIG change of heart.
This set is so beautiful and there are so many things you can do with it. This is our third card for Friday’s May Flowers Stamp Camp. I think the ladies are going to have so much fun making this card!
First, the colors I used are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Old Olive. The fun trim was made with the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim XL Die. It’s hard to see but the Melon Mamba strip down the side was textured with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder.
I stamped the big flower on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out so that I could pop it off the greeting. I then added my Jewel Rhinestone to finish the card.
Note: This is the perfect stamp set to stamp your envelope to match. I recently did this for a gift for my son Dylan’s teachers. The card and envelopes turned out beautifully!
