The basket in the Blooming Basket Stamp Set is gorgeous; however, I wanted to highlight the sweet little butterfly. I started first using the 2017-2019 In Colors and then decided to eliminate a few and add Bermuda Bay. I was so pleased as to how this card turned out. I created a couple variations and have shared them all in this post. Which is your favorite?

Today’s “amazing YOU” was created using the Sale-a-bration Blooming Basket Stamp Set. This card sentiment also highlights the Sale-a-bration Celebration You Thinlit Dies. With “amazing” on the front and “YOU” inside the card. I thought it was a nice touch.

Amazing You

Cut a 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Hand tear each 5-1/2″ long edge.

Tip: Tear each edge about 1/4″. This will finish the Bermuda Bay Cardstock at 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.

Cut a 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper. Center and adhere this piece to the torn Bermuda Bay Cardstock.

Cut a 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Center and adhere this piece to the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper.

Tip: Its best to use mini glue dots to secure the Whisper White Cardstock to the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper.

Center and adhere the Bermuda Bay layered strip to the top of the card base.

Using the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate You Thinlits and the Big Shot to die cut the word “Amazing and You”

Tip: The word “Amazing” was die cut in Berry Burst and the word “You” was die cut in Bermuda Bay.

Center & Adhere the word “Amazing” to the center of the Whisper White strip using a fine tip glue pen.

Stamp a Bermuda Bay Butterfly on a piece of scrap paper and hand cut it out.

Use a mini glue dot to adhere it to the top of the sentiment.

Use a fine tip glue pen to add “You” inside the card and add the Powder Pink Butterfly.

Tip: Embellish the center of the Butterflies using a jewel rhinestone.

Base

Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and fold it in half. This is the card base.

Randomly stamp the butterflies in the following colors; Bermuda Bay, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink.

Tip: The middle of the card base does not need to be stamped because it will be covered by the Bermuda Bay strip.

Use a Bermuda Bay, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink Stampin Write Marker to add your dots.

Tip: Less is more and don’t think every white space needs to be filled. Start with a few dots. One can always add more.
