Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Back On Your Feet Stamp Set. This stamp set is precious!! I love the sentiments and animals. It’s the perfect stamp set for those who are a little under the weather. It’s sure to make them smile.
Are you wondering how I created the background? It’s fabric!! That’s right, the background was created using cotton fabric, Pellon Wonder-Under a paper backed fusible web and an iron. Oh, it’s one of my most favorite things to do… iron fabric onto cardstock. The possibilities are ENDLESS!!
I hope you enjoy today’s video tutorial. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m always happy to help and am so grateful for your business. Thank you!
Happy Stamping!! Brandy
STEP #1
Lay your fabric down on top of your ironing board. Place the Pellon Wonder-Under Fusible Web on top of your fabric and iron it on. You’ll melt the adhesive onto your fabric.
STEP #2
Make sure you iron the Backed Fusable Web to your fabric. The backing will look like this picture once it’s been ironed on. Be sure to let the fabric cool before you pick it up. It will be hot!!
STEP #3
Once the fabric has cooled peel up one corner and begin to pull the contact paper off… leaving the fusible web adhesive on your fabric.
STEP #4
Now lay your cardstock on top of your ironing board and lay the fusible side of the fabric on top of the cardstock. Iron the fabric on the cardstock.
1. Cut a 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and fold it in half. This is your cardbase.
2. Cut your fabric background to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Center and adhere this piece to the top of the card base.
