This is Week #14 Utah Divas Color Challenge. I use these colors often so I was excited to pull out a stamp set that I have never used and start stamping!!!
I used the Stampin’ Up! “Crosses of Hope” Stamp Set. I stamped the image in Basic Black and then used a So Saffron and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker to color it in. I also cut my cross out and used Stampin’n Dimensionals to give it added Dimension.
The base of my card is 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ Very Vanilla. I then layered a piece of 5 1/4″ x 4″ Basic Black.
Check out the “NEW” Textured Impressions Embossing Folder… Framed Tulips. It’s Fabulous! Here’s a sneak peek. This embossing folder is not available yet but is coming very soon in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Catalog starting January 4th!
I used the Framed Tulips impressions folder to emboss a piece of 5″ x 3 3/4″ So Saffron and Old Olive Card Stock. I then used my cutting board to cut them into half triangles.
The next black piece measures 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. I then cut a piece of 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ So Saffron and Old Olive Card Stock and again cut them in half to form two triangles. I then pieces them together.
Most important, I love the message on this card… “God Bless You.” Have a GREAT week friends and if you’d like to see what the rest of the UDI Design Team came up with click here.

Hi Kathy
Thank You for posting a comment at BrandysCards! I really appreciate it.
I absolutely love the Crosses of Hope Stamp Set and was trying to do it for my color challenge. I stamped the cross in StazOn black and then I used the coordinating SU markers to color it in. Super easy and really elegant. Feel free to CASE it!
Happy New Year!
