Happy Color Challenge!!
I love to challenge my team by giving them colors and letting them go to work. Its a wonderful way to grow in color and design. By participating, it forces you to work with colors you might not put together. It can be hard at times but oh so rewarding when it all comes together.
The colors for the July color challenge are Real Red, Pacific Point and Whisper White. Keeping in mind the designers can stamp images in basic black and use either whisper white or vanilla cardstock.
I also like to reward my team for giving the color challenges a try I’ve put all names in a hat and pulled a lucky stamper. Congratulations to Abigail Tirona for winning the New 2017 Stampin Up July Paper Pumpkin Kit. Yay!! Thanks to Abigail and all the Blooms and Butterflies designers for submitting their beautiful cards.
Thank you So Much for stopping by be sure to let me know if you would like more information about these beautiful designs or Stampin Up Designers below! Blessings, Brandy

Nan,
I took a piece of Whisper White and crumpled it up. On the peaks, I ran my blue ink across it. After it dried, I crumpled it up again, making sure the peaks were on different parts of the paper. I ran the red ink over those peaks. Once it was totally dry, I took an iron on low heat and pressed out the wrinkles. It’s a fun technique to do and it gives a shabby feel to a card. Looks pretty on very vanilla with fall colors and leaves.
While I like all of the creativity, Allison Davini, Abigail Tirona, and Angela Shock ~~~ are my favorites …
What did Angela use for her background?
Nan,
I am sorry my reply didn’t post earlier. I crumpled my paper and ran the real red ink pad icebergs peaks that were standing up. I let that dry and did the same (crinkle in other areas) for the blue. After it had dried, I ironed the paper to make it flatter to adhere better to my card.
Again, I thought I had already posted the answer to your question.
How long does each challenge last? When do that start?
