Wow, I just love this card! The fabulous fabric butterfly just flutters right off this card. Don’t you think? Great fall colors too. I thought about holding this one back for our Getaway Trip to Pinehurst.
To make this card I used Clear Stampin Up Window Sheets. I treated the clear sheet just as I would card stock. It’s the base of this card. Note ~ I used Stampin Up Mini Glue Dots throughout this card because they are clear and you can’t see them. Not to mention they stick great to the window sheets.
You’ll see I used the Scallop Border Punch on Whisper White Card Stock to add a bit of elegance. I also used the Big Shot & my Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder to add texture to my Old Olive Card Stock. I added a More Mustard Trim to compliment the colors in the butterfly.
I layered Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and then Whisper White. My butterfly has three holes punched through it so that I could add three gold brads.
Did you know that my butterfly was FABRIC? That’s right! I ironed on Stampin Up Fabric Adhesive to the back of my fabric. Then I cut out these fabulous butterflies using the Stampin Up Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. Give it a try. It’s so much fun!
