I had a lot of fun with this color challenge. I love these colors! They remind me of Valentines Day so I had to put the “New” Stampin’ Up! You Are Loved stamp set. Isn’t it gorgeous!
To create this card I started with my Early Espresso base. I stamped the big heart all over the base with Early Espresso Craft Ink. I did the same thing with a bit of Very Vanilla which is the decoration on the left side of the card.
I then textured a piece of Early Espresso card stock with the Framed Tulips textured impressions embossing folder. The next layer is very vanilla, then pumpkin pie, and I finished it with a piece of melon mambo card stock that was textured with the Perfect Polka Dot textured impressions embossing folders. I’d have to say the embossing folder make my Top Ten list of Favorite items!
Then I stamped the Love in early espresso on very vanilla. I punched it out with Decorative Label punch. I then cleaned my stamp and colored it with Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso Stamp Write Markers. Finally I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add a bit of pop. Of course I had to add a jewel rhinestone for some bling.
One of my favorite features of this card is how I stamped the image in Early Espresso on the Vanilla strips. I then cut them different thicknesses and used them kinda like ribbon. The picture doesn’t do it justice; however, its really pretty!

Nice card! I really love this set. You will have to tell me how you did the strips on the side. It looks like ribbon. I really like how you did that! Thanks for all you inspiration, Brandy!
