Today’s card was designed with the Stampin Up Scentsational Season stamp set and the Holiday Collection Framelit Dies.
Doesn’t this cup of Joe just make you feel warm and cozy? Maybe its hot chocolate or a fabulous cup of tea… whatever is in this cup I want to have it!!!
Items needed to make this card include:
- VersaMark
- Big Shot
- Jewel Rhinestones
- Very Vanilla Card Stock
- Early Espresso Card Stock
- Scentsational Season Stamp Set
- Dazzling Details Liquid Glitter
- Stampin Up Pastels (Chalk)
- Fancy Fan Texture Folder
Notice the depth to the coffee cup… to achieve this I first stamped it in VersaMark and then use my sponge dauber and Early Espresso Chalk to add color. I really liked the light and the dark look. I colored several cups to figure out how best I liked it. What I found to work best was to get my sponge dauber coated with Early Espresso chalk and then start in the middle… on the snowflake. I used outward strokes to move the chalk around. Once the whole image was visible I went back and picked up some more Early Espresso chalk and focused on the center of my cup or the snowflake.
Next, pull out your Big Shot and place your Holiday Collection Framelit over your cup and steam if you wish. One run through and its punched out!!! Love That!!!
I used my Stampin Up Dazzling Details to add the sparkle to the snowflake and steam. Of course, I had to add a Rhinestone to the center of my snowflake. The base of my card was textured Stampin Up Fancy Fan Folder. The “Sweet Friend” Sentiment was taken from the Stampin Up You Are Loved Stamp Set.
This is Stamp Camp card #1 for August 31st!!! I can’t hardly wait. Thank you all for stopping by. Have Scentsational weekend!!!

Hi Brandy – thanks for the video, it’s great. I do have a question for you. Behind you is a fabulous wall of paper and punches. Would you share where you purchased that wall. It’s great and I’m looking for ideas for my craft room. Thanks. Donna
Thank you so much for this video! I never knew you can stamp on Versamark and use your chalk to add color! I will definitely try this technique!
By the way, I LOVE the background of your craft room! 🙂
Hugs,
Martha H.
Great video! Can’t wait to use those pastels that I never know what to do with.
Love the card and the video! Have never used chalks, but I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing you again in Pinehurst.

Great card! Did not think I would want this stamp set, but you are changing my mind on that. Love the coloring and yes, it would make for a great video.
I LOVE how you used sponge dauber and Early Espresso Chalk to add color! I’ve never seen this before…
This would make a great video tutorial!
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
