Today’s card was designed with the Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers Stamp Set.
The technique I used is stamping on tissue paper. Although I don’t know the official name of this technique I am going to call it the Tissue Paper Technique.
Here’s how I did it… I started with a piece of Night of Navy card stock. Night of Navy is my base color. I then added a layer of Marina Mist. I also cut a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White piece of paper and set it aside.
Next, I cut a card sized piece of regular white tissue paper. I stamped on it as I would stamp on paper. You’ll notice this stamp set is a two step stamping stamp set so you’ll stamp your flowers in two different shades to achieve this look.
I then wrinkled my tissue paper up in a tight ball in my hand. Yes, with the beautiful stamped image on it! I used a Glue Stick and applied glue all over the 3-3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White Card Stock and then I opened the tissue paper and started to pat it down on top of the Whisper White Card Stock with Glue. You get this beautiful texture!!! Wow!!! I hope you give this a try. Its super easy and really fun. I promise you’ll be stuck to the table when your done. Lol!
Hi Brandy, My daughter and I just did several of your lovely cards with the wrinkled tissue paper, and had a great time together.
Did you ever make a card using tissue paper, just stamping on it, leaving it flat, and wrapping it around card stock for the background.
I did it once at a stamp camp a while ago, but forgot just how we did it. Can you help me ? Thanks for all your neat videos. Joyce
Hi Brandy, absolutely love this technique. Will definitely try this. Will also suggest it to my friends!. Kathy

Hi Brandy!
Another awesome card! As I told you in a previous Comment, I teach a card making class and this was also one of the cards we made. Another hit! Unfortunately, we are always in need of sympathy cards, and this card was “it.” I will be making more soon!
Thank you for the tutorials. A person can tell that you truly enjoy what you do and you do it so well!
