Although it looks darker in the photo, the base of this card is Night of Navy. I, then, layered whisper white and baja breeze. The baja breeze has been textured with the embossing folder from the Sale-a-bration catalog. I’m sorry the specific name is not coming to me. And finally, the sentiment on this card was stamped in coordinating night of navy classic ink.
I really enjoy using mixed media on my cards and projects. This card features a strip of shiny aluminum flashing that just adds so much character and pops off the card. I used my Big Shot and my Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Trims XL Die to cut it out. How about the bitty butterfly? Well, I actually used my bitty butterfly punch and punched that little guy out. Not sure if that is good for my punches or not; however, it worked! I used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the butterfly as I wanted to add a bit of interest such as a brad of some sort. That’s it! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. Happy Stampin! Brandy

WOW! what a beautiful card. I really like the aluminum flashing! ….. Never thought of adding a brad to a butterfly, I always adhere a pearl or shiny rhinestone!
Beautiful card! Love it’s simplicity! And where do I find the aluminum flashing?
Nice to see that you use the mixed media, such as the copper and now the aluminum flashing. Thanks for the great ideas. Ilena
