Hand crafted cards are so beautiful and so unique aren’t they? It’s a shame that they can’t live on forever. Now they can…
Open your Stampin’ Up! Idea and Catalog book to page #146. There you’ll see a stamp set called “So Green.” I thought it was really cute but wasn’t to sure how to incorporate it. While at convention in July… one of the presentations I attended was a demonstration using this very set. That’s right! So, I decided to try it and make it work for me.
What do you think? Pretty cool!!! Notice that the inside of this charming card say ” Hand Stamped by me and Recycled By You.” I couldn’t have said it better.
I made a fun pocket inside my card and then I cut 5 pieces of white card stock and I paper clipped them.
Now you can write your message on the top sheet and mail it. The person that receives it takes the top piece off and writes on the next clear sheet. The cycle can go on and on as long as want to recycle it.
I wanted to point out that this is a very clean and simple card. With that said, it’s still very beautiful and has a sweet charm to it. The flower is cut using the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot and Island Floral Bigz Die #118871. I am always looking at my local fabric store to find fun fabrics and things to add to my cards. This flower is using a hot pink felt!
I hope you enjoyed my feature card for today. Please take these cards and ideas and recreate them and let them work in your life. Have a GREAT weekend!
Awesome card and idea – thanks heaps for sharing.
