Today, I thought I would expand on my punch art pumpkin and turn it into a fun way to present a treat. Below you’ll find the tutorial on how to use an extra large oval punch to make a punch art pumpkin.
Looking at the tutorial below you’ll notice the far left oval and the far right oval are both the bottom layer.Their is an oval layered on top of both the left oval and another on top of the right oval. The last oval lays right on top. You can sponge your pumpkin with a Tangerine Tango stamp pad to add a bit of depth. This treat box holds 3 chocolate nuggets. (Extra Large Oval Punch #119855 – Retired)
Start with a 4″ x 4″ square. Score one side at 1-1/8″ x 2-7/8″ and the other side at 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. The side you scored at 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ you would cut up the sides of the small scored square. Now bend and fold all creases and form your box.
Hi Brandy – I wanted to know where you got your stampin up cutting/work pad that you are using to work on your punch art pumpkin tutorial. Is this still available to purchase? I love the pumpkin treat box and can’t wait to make them for this fall.
Thanks!
Pam
