Today’s card was designed using the Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect & Rose Wonder Stamp Sets. I love these sets equally for different reasons.
The Picture Perfect Stamp Set has beautiful organic, natural images that are calming. The Rose Wonder Stamp Set has the fabulous rose along with beautiful sentiments & verses.
Thank you for your friendships, love, prayers and business. Have a great weekend!! Brandy
1.Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Soft Sky Cardstock. Score it at 4-1/4″ and fold it in half. This is your base.
2.Using the Starfish Stamp and Pool Party Ink Pad to stamp randomly on your base.
1.Cut a 4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″ piece of Chocolate Chip Cardstock. This is your base layer for your starfish and sentiment.
2.Cut a 4-6/8″ x 3-4/8″ piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock and layer it on top of your Chocolate Chip Cardstock.
3.Cut a 4-5/8″ x 3-3/8″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. This piece will layer on the top of your card.
Tip: Be sure to stamp your sentiment before adhering it to your card.
The Starfish is a 2 step stamp.
1.You’ll want to ink up your less detailed starfish in So Saffron and stamp it on scrap paper.
2.Next, ink up your detailed Starfish in Soft Suede or Chocolate Chip and stamp it on your previous starfish. This will give you more dimension and detail.
3.After I stamped my starfish, I used my snips to hand cut it out. It’s fairly easy to cut out… I promise!!
1.The first torn piece is 3-3/8″ of Soft Sky cardstock and tear it. This layer will be adhered to your white cardstock. Leave a bit free so that you can tuck your starfish under it.
2.The second torn piece is also 3-3/8″ in length and it’s stamped in Tip Top Taupe using the Timeless Textures stamp set.
