Today’s My Digital Studio Challenge was a Digital Project using Shades of Blue. As I started to prepare for this challenge I opened my Summer Mini Catalog and was looking for the nautical stamp sets and accessories. Once I saw that you could purchase the “The Open Sea Stamp Brush Set” I had to have it! I knew this would be perfect for today’s challenge. I also really liked the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper.
Today’s Digital Card has the Nautical Expedition DSP as the patterned background. The frame of the boat and bottom half of the card were done in Night of Navy Card Stock. From the Open Sea Brush Set I decided to use the Boat. Once I layered it on the Whisper White I changed the color from Basic Black to Night of Navy so it matched.
Next… a greeting, verse or something. I love the 2010-2011 Stampin Up Idea Book and Catalog because it’s FULL of ideas and inspiration. In this case, the inspiration came from another stamp set that I have always loved called, Uncharted Territory. I looked through my Idea Book and Catalog until I found it and just copied the verse as it’s written by Leo F. Buscaglia
Then I was thinking about my own life… and well every day is an Adventure!
