What can I say other than WOW!! Stampin’ Up! has so much to offer and they are so good to all their demonstrators. I experienced it first hand by attending the Leadership Conference, in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. I had a great trip and I am so excited to share my experience with you.
Experience the charm of San Antonio’s most iconic landmark through Hyatt Regency San Antonio. Situated on the famed Riverwalk, the modern hotel is also right across from The Alamo, another bastion of legacy for the historic city. This impressive downtown hotel is a premier choice for both leisure and business travelers. While staying in the hotel, guests can take a relaxing stroll along sidewalk cafes, galleries and boutiques, or better yet, hop onboard a riverboat for a more scenic way to enjoy the sights along the riverbanks. It is also convenient to pay a visit to centuries-old Spanish missions near San Antonio.
At every Stampin’ Up! Convention or Conference you get the opportunity to attend a Make & Take Session. It’s so much fun!! You get to meet demonstrators from across the country as we all come together to make and take the projects that Stampin’ Up! has prepared for us. This year I volunteered to be a Make & Take helper. At the very end of the session I was rewarded with a bag FULL of Stampin’ Up! products!!
I really enjoyed visiting with these two ladies!! On my left is Andrea Withers. She has a big job preparing all the Make & Takes and making sure every demonstrator and helper has what they need. She is also just the sweetest most kind and beautiful person inside and out. I just adore her and I always look forward to seeing her. The beautiful lady to my right is Sara Douglass, Advisor to the CEO, Shelli Gardner. She is also Shelli’s daughter. This was my first time meeting Sara in person. What a sweet, kind, and very talented gal.
BIG thanks to Andrea and the Make & Take staff for giving me the opportunity to participate and for all the FREE goodies!!
What a great way to end the first day!! I was invited to attend the Manager’s Reception!! Max, Lisa, Lynn, Michelle, and I had a blast chasing down the chicken appetizers and drinking Shirley Temples… LOL!!
In order to attend the Manager’s Reception you must be performing at the level of manager or above. I am super excited to say this was my first Manager’s Reception. Yay!!
The reception was held at the Lila Cockrell Theatre located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The ladies and I all experienced the chair stacking, hat juggling, pole climbing antics of the Chinese Acrobats of Hebei.
I have to say… it wasn’t a relaxing night of entertainment. LOL!! I was a nervous reck watching them perform.
On Day 2, I was even more excited to learn what was in store for me and the other demonstrators. My dear friend and roomie, Maxine and I were ready to go.
The theme of this years Leadership Conference was “My Way!”
And check out my new fabric bag. Love it!! Along with our Leadership bag there were lots of prizes given out during the general session!!
