Happy Birthday Uncle Ty!!!
Gosh… I can make girly cards all day long!!! When it come time to make a card more masculine… forget it. That’s why I was so excited when this card came together. Woo Hoo!!!
If you open your 2010 Idea Book and Catalog to page #130 you will see a similar card. It’s done in pink and brown. I decided to switch it up a bit. I used Cherry Cobbler… which has to be my most favorite red so far. It look fantastic with with brown. Love it!!!
I used the “Itty Bitty Bits” Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set #117056 (W) & #120060 (C) along with Stampin’ Ups “Everything Nice” Stamp Set #113818 (w). I used the Scallop Punch with a white gel pen to create the tiered plate or cake. Enjoy.
Brandy, this might be the perfect card to use for my office / client birthdays this coming year! I will show it to Alex and see what he thinks. I have a bunch of red card stock left over from my last project (not a pretty as cherry cobbler, but it would work:) If he goes for it, I will talk to you more about what else I need!
