Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Florets Envelope Pocket Card
Today’s card was designed using the Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Florets stamp set and a Stampin’ Up! Envelope! I just love having a special note that slides out the side pocket (or envelope opening).
Sizes & Dimensions
Cut the Flap of your Stampin’ Up! Envelope off. Notice the picture below. Then emboss your envelope with desired embossing folder. I used the Fancy Fan.
Layered Rectangles –
- 4-1/2″ x 3″ Bottom
- 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ Middle
- 4″ x 2-1/2″ Top
Inside Perfect Plum is 5-1/2″ x 5″. You’ll insert it in your envelope before free hand tearing it down the long edge ( 5-1/2″ side)
Inside Whisper White is 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue your Whisper White inside down after you free hand tear your Perfect Plum. This way you get exact placement.
Colors
The colors used for today’s card are Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White card stock. I used Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive to stamp my flowers and sentiment.
The Sentiment comes from the Stampin’ Up! Banner Greetings stamp set, pg. #202 in your Stampin’ Up! catalog. I also added a Stampin’ Up! pearl.
Thanks for stopping by friends. Thank you for subscribing and for leaving comments. I sincerely appreciate your feedback and support. Have a great day! Brandy
Brandy, I used no tabs on my plate for embossing the envelope but the envelope rips really easy! I used the SU envelopes.
Brandy, I enjoy your videos & you offer some really unique (to me) techniques! I’ll be making the hair gel card as soon as I can buy some small plastic bags, and I’m looking forward to your video on the black & white card box. Whether it’s a new technique, or a beautiful design, I’ve been tuning into your Youtube videos every day. Thanks!
What size envelope do you put this in so you can mail it? Love this card – will be making at my next class.
Hi Diane,
That’s a great questions! I used a 5 x 7 envelope that I purchased at an office supply store. It was just a little something different to try. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! Brandy

I just made the envelope card which I love. Did you make a special envelope in order to mail it because right now mine does not fit in an envelope to mail.
Conner & I can’t wait to try this out. Thanks for sharing.
What a great card. Can’t look at an envelope the same way anymore. TFS cj
