This past week I visited Salt Lake City, Utah and attended the Stampin’ Up! Convention. It was awesome!! Now, I thought the last two years were awesome… but this year was even more magical!! I don’t know how they do it but somehow it just gets better and better each and every year. Today, I am sharing with you my experiences at the convention and the joys of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. To the left is a glimpse of the Demonstrator Resource Center. The staff at Stampin’ Up! are so helpful, creative, and kind!! The ideas and inspiration are EVERYWHERE!!
Convention 2011 Highlights
The Convention Kick Off Party was so much fun! My team member and dear friend Tonya joined me in on the fun. The theme was Summertime and the challenge was to decorate a hat with Stampin’ Up! products. I was so excited to find a hat and immediately began to decorate it. I used the Stampin’ Up! Flower Folds Die and Beautiful Butterflies to decorate my hat, badge, and sandals. Wow!! Isn’t Sue’s hat adorable?! She was so kind and let me photograph her work of art. Thanks Sue!!
This year I participated in several fun and organized swaps!! I also made 100 general swaps. It takes hours to make your swaps and it took me less than a hour or so to trade. It’s so much fun!! It’s a great way to get ideas and learn from your fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators and friends.
My first and one of many visits to the Memento Mall!! Oh my… let’s just say “Bring your credit card!!” It’s a good thing my husband wasn’t with me because he’d die if he saw hundreds of women running around scrabbling to pick up loads of stamping gifts and supplies LOL!! This years Memento Mall was FULL of great gifts for friends, family, downline, sidelines and even me!!
Yay!! This year I was chosen to participate as a Make and Take helper!! It was so much fun and as always Stampin’ Up! rewards you for your hard work and efforts. A big thank you to Linda for her kindness, talent, and inspiration!! I really enjoyed my time with her while making our projects. I know I’ve made a stampin’ friend for life!! Below are the busy Make and Take Helpers working away!! Thank you Andrea for such a wonderful experience!! I really enjoyed helping and LOVED my goody bag. Woo Hoo!!
