Babies, Babies, Babies… what an amazing gift! Several of my dear friends are either pregnant or have a new born baby. I just love holding, rocking and snuggling with them. Although my little ones are now 3 and 5… they will always be my babies.
Today’s card was inspired by my girlfriend Beth who is in labor now and my other girlfriend Kasey who let me love on her little Cohen today. I just couldn’t help but pull out my Stampin Up bringing baby stamp set and get to work.
The base of this card is actually So Saffron. It so looks like Daffodil Delight but its not. I used the Perfect Polka Dots textured embossing folder to add the great polka dotted texture. To create the Scallop trim… I used both the Scallop Trim Border Punch and the Scallop Trim Corner Punch. Once you figure out the dimensions the corner rounder punches are fabulous. Note: I am working on a tutorial that I will share with you soon.
Until then… the measurements on this particular rectangle are 3-13/16″ x 4-3/4″. I cut my Whisper White card stock to that size and then used my Scallop Trim Corner on all four corners. I then used the Scallop Trim Border to cut the middle. It worked perfectly!
