Wow! This challenge was a tough one for me. Its challenges like this that help you grow in design and color. I have learned so much from participating in color challenges. I’ve learned that sometimes you just have to put your project down and walk away. More often than not when I return I have a new prospective. I think sometimes we over think it or try to hard. Remember stamping is fun and all the images in a stamp set match. You just have to try various combinations.
Colored Images:
This card is very simple. I stamped my bird and flower in StazOn black. I then used the various ink pads with my blender pen. With my stamp pads closed… I gave them a good squeeze and used the ink left on top of the ink pad to color this image.
Background:
The base of this card is Bermuda Bay. I needed a bit more interest behind my focus so I just stamped the flower several times in Bermuda Bay ink on Bermuda Bay card stock. Its meant to be subtle.
