What a great stamp set… the Stampin’ Up! Nursery Necessities! I just loved it and hate that its been retired.
I designed this card for a dear friends baby shower. She was having a little boy and wanted bright primary colors such as Red, Blue, Yellow etc.
Because she was having a boy… the boat was jumping out at me. I used Marina Mist for the base blue. You’ll see I used the Snips and Snails and PuppyDog Tails for a some background print. I used the Stampin Up Big Shot and Scallop Circle Bigz Die to make the large circle scallop.
The layers of circles start with the Marina Mist are 3-1/2″ Original Die, So Saffron is the 3″ Original Circle Die and the Whisper White circle is the from the Originals Circles #2 Die.
I use the large Circle Scallop to cut a Whisper White Scallop Circle for the water. I thought that was a fun way to add movement and texture. To color the boat I used Stampin Write Markers, Red, Marina Mist, Old Olive and So Saffron. That’s it!
