The base of this card is Chocolate Chip. I thought Chocolate Chip looked best because it’s very Earthy. The next layer is Very Vanilla. I, then, visited Lowe’s Home Improvement and purchased some copper flashing. Yep, I just cut it in my cutting board.
The copper layer is 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and I embossed it with the Stampin’ Up! Flower Garden embossing folder. Check out the pretty butterflies! Ok, so I was nervous but decided to go for it and it worked… I punched my butterflies right out of the copper flashing with my Elegant Butterfly punch and my itty bitty butterfly punch. Of course, I had to texture them so they would flutter off the page. Lol! I used the square lattice embossing folder to add the fun texture.
That’s it! I just love working with mix media and metal. I hope you give it a try! Don’t forget Stamp Camp is this Saturday night at 7:00! Hope you can join us!!! Have a GREAT day. Brandy
