Brandy these cards are over the top!! How cool are they with tshirts! I loved your first video too. I do not sew and know nothing about material.
1) Did you wash the material before making the cards?
2) What is the best type of material to use?
HI Debbie,
Thanks for stopping by. I’m so excited to know you enjoyed my cards and tutorial. That makes me so happy!!
Sure, I’m happy to answer your questions.
1. I did not wash any material.
2. Here is the link to the fabric that I used https://www.joann.com/premium-prints-cotton-fabric-susan-winget-gray-birds/16952178.html#q=fabric%20with%20birds&prefn1=productGroup&prefv1=Product&srule=Test-V2-Search-Rule&start=73&sz=72
I’ve found that cotton fabrics or batiks seem to work best. Hope that helps!! Thanks for stopping by. Blessings, Brandy
I have wanted to do fabric cards for over a year but just couldn’t seem to get the concept together. The live videos were wonderful. I had purchased some scripture squares at a quilt store last year and have made four cards this afternoon. I also used fabric for the background on some of them. This could be a new favorite card style. Thanks again for sharing.
