Where do you get card making design ideas? There are so many resources that can spark your creativity and get you thinking of designs, colors, shapes, and more. I’ve got 12 ways to spark your creativity and I promise you there’s a method here that will work for everyone.

I like to use a binder to store all of the card making tutorials and ideas I’ve saved over the years.
Download FREE tutorials from BrandysCards.com and add them to the binder.
Go to splitcoaststampers.com and click on “Gallery” at the top of the screen.
Scroll down to browse the gallery and pick “Stampin Up”.
Stamp sets are organized alphabetically. Click on the stamp set to take you to a page with several different cards using that set!
Use magazines to help with color inspiration and create a color palette.
Dresses and articles of clothing in your own home can also serve as color palette inspiration.
Stampin’ Up! provides a color chart to give you ideas of which colors to use together.
Stampin’ Up! catalogs provide several ideas of inspiration that could get any stamper started.
Use the Google Search engine and type in “stampin up (stamp set name)”. Click “Images” so view several sources of inspiration.
YouTube
YouTube has thousands of card making tutorials to use as inspiration. You can use the search box at the top of the page to search for a specific stamp set or you can go to my channel, BrandysCards, where I have several videos full of ideas using Stampin’ Up! products.
Pinterest is also a great source for ideas and inspiration! Go to the search box at the top of the page and search any stamp set you wish to see. Or you can go directly to my Pinterest Page, @brandyscards, to see several projects I’ve worked on!
Use Instagram hashtags as a source of inspiration! My favorite hashtag to use is #stampinup because it has over a million posts full of ideas. You can also search for usernames of demonstrators to see their most recent content. Here are a couple usernames to help you get started!
