I know y’all are always looking for masculine card ideas so today kicks off a new series I’m creating that’s all about Handmade Cards for Men. Yay!!
Today’s cards feature the Pastel Chalks to create a fun blue background along with chipboard to bring your boat to life. I hope you enjoy these cards!!

Stamp Set: Adventurous Journey, He’s All That; Cardstock: Basic White, Early Espresso, Balmy Blue, Chipboard; Stamp Pads: Early Espresso, Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral; Misc: Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Scissors, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Adhesive
1. Cut, score, and fold the card base.
2. Emboss Basic White layer. Then, center and adhere it to the card front.
3. In Early Espresso Ink, stamp the boat and oar on chipboard. Cut out using scissors.
4. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso.
5. Stamp the swirling water in Balmy Blue.
6. Adhere the boat and oar using liquid adhesive.
7. Center and adhere the image layer to the Balmy Blue Cardstock using Dimensionals.
8. Center and adhere the Balmy Blue layer to the Early Espresso layer.
9. Center and adhere the layered cardstock to the card front.
10. Stamp a Calypso Coral fish. Cut it out and adhere to the swirling water.
Stamp Set: Adventurous Journey; Cardstock: Basic White, Night of Navy, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper; Stamp Pads: Memento Black, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green, Sweet Sorbet; Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet, Daffodil Delight, Smokey Slate, Petal Pink; Misc: Soft Pastel Chalk, Water Painters, Scissors, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Adhesive
1. Cut, score, and fold the card base.
2. Center and adhere the Night of Navy layer to the bottom edge of the card front.
3. Use the blue chalk to color on the Watercolor Paper. Then, blend the chalk using a water painter. Let it dry.
4. Once dry, adhere the watercolored strips to the Basic White layer. Then, center and adhere to the card front.
5. Stamp the sentiment on scrap paper in different ink colors.
6. Cut out the sentiment in blocks, using scissors. Adhere the sentiment to the card front.
7. In Memento Black, stamp the kayaker and color using Stampin’ Blends. Cut it out and adhere it to the card front.

What a FUN card!! I often do not think to make masculine cards (not sure why….I have plenty of wonderful men in my life I could sent them too)!!
