What do you think of the Sale-a-bration catalog? Do you love it? I do. I think Stampin’ Up! did a really nice job on the new art work & embellishments that are offered. I also love the fact that you can choose from several current stamps that are in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. Awesome!
For today’s color challenge I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Stamp set called Bliss. It’s a beauty!!!
I have seen some fabulous swaps with it. There are various ways that you can make it work for you. Stampin’ Up! does a great job coordinating all the stamps that are featured in one stamp set. You can use 5 stamps from this set “Bliss” on one card. That’s right… all 5 images work well together and you can make it work.
To make this lovely card I started with a Chocolate Chip base and then layered Certainly Celery on top. I used a Certainly Celery Stamp Pad to stamp the fabulous background. I did the same for the smaller rectangle series.
I added a bit of Pompom Trim to the bottom of my small rectangles. To design the Bliss I used Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Markers.
