Sending out holiday cards this week? You’ll want to add another name to your list.
Addie Fausett, 6, of Fountain Green, Utah, is likely celebrating her last Christmas this year due to an atrophy of her brain that has left doctors puzzled. And in the face of devastating news, her family has come up with a beautiful idea: They are asking people to send Addie a “lifetime of Christmas cards.”

Where there is LIFE there is HOPE, Prayers are heard, even a whisper. God bless everyone who has prayed for Little Addie and her family. I know that not one card has been mailed or sent in any form that has not had a prayer attached. God Bless you Addie.
I made a card and our entire company signed it for her! What a cutie she is!
Thanks for sharing this very sad story about this precious little girl Addie. I will certainly also for sure send a special Christmas card myself to in the mail to her. So sad and this story brought tears to my eyes to. take care Brandy and thank you once again for sharing this sad story.
TFS the info Brandy. I’ll be sure to send a card. So so sad.
Just sent a card the other day when I read this on facebook…..so sad……… I know it is not the same but we lost our 17 year old daughter last year due to a long term disease and there is nothing more special than getting a card through the door signifying that someone is thinking of you, especially a complete stranger, it makes the world seem less remote and more caring
What a sad, touching story! Will get a card out today for Addie and her sisters, today.
Thanks for sharing this, Brandy!
Wow! This story brought tears to my eyes. I can’t imagine. I will make sure I have an extra card made to send to her and her sisters.
I read this story this past weekend, so I went back to my craft room and had to make her a Christmas card sent it out on Monday. It was so touching. I hope everyone who sees the article, post or news report that they have it in their hearts to send Addie a Christmas card. It only take a few minutes of your time. And it is so worth it to put a smile on this precious little girls face.
