Swallowtail Butterfly

Stampin Up Swallowtail Today’s card was designed using the Stampin’ Up!  Swallowtail butterfly and was intended for my upcoming card class; however, I ran out of black… Oh my goodness!!!  So, we’ll have to save this one for my Open House or for another stamp camp.  It’s beautiful!!!

Card Sizes & Dimensions –

  • Basic Black (Base) 4-1/4″ x 11″
  • Whisper White (Inside) 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Whisper White (Top) 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic Black Strip 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Whisper White Strip 1″ x 4-1/4″
Stampin Up Swallowtail

The beauty of this card beside the stunning Swallowtail butterfly is the fact I used StazOn black ink along with basic black and whisper white card stocks.  That’s it!!!   I added a jewel rhinestone for interest.

Did you notice this Swallowtail butterfly has dimension?  I stamped the image three different times.  I used my paper snips to cut out various parts of the butterfly.  Then, I used a Stampin Dimensional to add lift.  I believe I went three layers high.  The picture just doesn’t do it justice.  When you look at the card, it appears as though the Swallowtail is going to flutter away.  This stamp is Stunning!  I promise you’ll see more of this one.

Thanks for stopping by.  Thank you for your friendships and support!  Let me know if you have any questions or need a Stampin’ Up! Catalog or 2013 Occasions Mini.  I’d love the opportunity to earn your business.  Have a blessed day! Brandy

Oh my goodness, this is absolutely breathtaking!

What is the difference between StazOn black ink v. SU! stamp inks?

And I know the feeling when you say the picture just doesn’t do it justice… 🙂
