Today’s sunflower was inspired by a card that I saw at Convention. I loved it and couldn’t wait to get home and put my spin on it. Its super simple… give it a try! Items used to make this punch art sunflower include:
The greeting is from the Stampin Up Blooming with Kindess stamp set, #126422.
- Large Oval Punch #119855
- Bird Builder Punch #117191
- Small Oval Punch #120908
- Early Espresso Card Stock
- Old Olive Card Stock
- Daffodil Delight Card Stock
- Pumpkin Pie Stamp Pad
- Old Olive Stamp Pad
- Early Espresso Stamp Pad
I used the Stampin Up large oval punch to make my flower petals. I sponged the petals with Pumpkin Pie. It really just makes the flower pop!
How did I cut the stem? Ya know, I just free hand cut it. Once I made a stem that I liked I then made a template for my class. The ladies can trace my chip board stem and cut it themselves. The leaves are from the wings of the bird builder punch. They too are sponged with Old Olive.
This card is super easy and so pretty! I hope you enjoyed seeing it and are inspired to pull out your punches and give it a try!!! Thanks for stopping by BrandysCards.com and have a GREAT WEEK!
