Punch Art Monkey with Video Tutorial

Stampin Up Punch Art Monkey
Stampin Up Punch Art MonkeyStampin Up Punch Art MonkeyToday’s inspiration was designed for my Valentine Card class.  OH… I LOVE HER!!!  What do you think?  As I have stated before… anything with googlie eyes makes people smile and this fun punch art monkey is no exception.

I’m most excited about these colors. The base of this card is your standard whisper white.  I wanted to venture out a bit and grabbed Sahara Sand for the next layer.  I can’t say I have used this color more than twice in my 5 years of being an Stampin Up Demontrator.  Its stunning!  I used the argyle textured embossing folder for the fun texture.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you give her a try!

Items and Punches Used for today Stampin Up Punch Art Monkey include:

  • 1-3/4″ Circle Punch (Base of Face)
  • 3/4″ Circle Punch for Crumb Cake Eyes
  • 1/2″ Circle Punch for Whites of Eyes
  • 1″ Circle Punch for Chocolate Chip Ears
  • 3/4″ Circle Punch for Crumb Cake inside of Ears
  • 1/2″ Circle Punch for Basic Black nose

    • Rone February 6, 2014 at 12:39 pm #

Did you get the paper dimensions? I’d love to make this card and the dimensions would make it easier. Thanks

    Brandy,

I looked for the measurement for the argyle, melon mamba, and white that are used for the background for the monkey….BUT can’t find them. I am planning on making a similar card.

    Thanks,
    Maria

Hi Brandy, Just found your website and love your work. Since both the youtube video and your one on site ended too early, could you give me the card dimensions for the beginning pieces? thanks so much.

I have recently found your tutorials on Utube and just love your work. Thank you for sharing your talents. Could you please tell me how to use a die that requires more than one color? I have a brown tree with green leaves – how do i get the right colors in the right places? Thanks for your time.

      Hi Marie,

Ya know I really haven’t encountered this yet; however, I would say that you’d just have to run it through twice with the specific colors on each piece. I’d be interested in knowing which die your using to see if I had a better answer for you. Let me know!
