Help stamping friends… What is my sweet little punch art duck missing? I just love this card. Its been sitting on my shelf for almost two weeks. I can’t seem to figure out what little something, something I need to finish it.

You probably finished this weeks ago. But here’s my two cents. Looking at the card the white was too big an area for this design. I wanted to picture if he was swimming outdoors or in a bathtub. We have rubber ducky races in the outdoor waterways once a year. So i picture faint green images of tall grass, or leafed stems behind him on the white backdrop. Maybe the ink once, stamp twice method. They should be taller than him, since he’s a little rubber ducky. But just a few for effect, not so dense you lose the crisp white peeking through. And i like Julie’s idea of a feather, but i would have a feather just peeking out around the edges of his wing so it’s a hint of texture but not stand alone.
So precious! I almost don’t think it needs anything! I would just make a
) with a white gel pen on the eye. (No blog candy…just wanted to comment!) Love the card!!!
I would add a yellow fluffy feather to create his little tail – would add another element of 3D which would look cute!
I agree with Patty in #1 – Make it a girl duck, adding eyelashes and a little bow.. that would be so cute.
How about sponging around his head and body. Also, make it a girl duck and add a little bow.
I think that a little sparkle to the water would be nice. Maybe a cute little tail sticking out. But really, the card looks super cute as it is. Sometimes less is good too. Cute card though!
I’m in love with this card! Perhaps though…maybe try this…if you think of his bill as only the bottom half and you add a little triangle (try manipulating a heart punch and using half) for the top part of his bill.
some translucent bubbles coming up & a cute saying in the upper corner
Bigger eye!!! Kidding…he’s cute! Maybe some sparkle on the water.
I think either bubbles from the translucent paper with blue shading around the outside floating up from the blue water to the top OR a sweet little sun, kissed in glitter (of course).
I hope this helps.
