Today’s card was designed for a special occasion… My dear friend Cathy was invited to attend Dale Earnhardt’s daughters wedding this past spring. Cathy was really excited when she received her unique and fabulous invitation made of leather. It was just beautiful and as unique as the bride and groom. Therefore, Cathy and I were determined to make a card that fit the personality and wedding theme.
The colors of the wedding were brown and tempting turquoise. The invitation was made of leather. So we decided to use the Big Shot and use a Stampin Up Shapes Die to cut out the perfect leather heart. We wanted to keep it rustic but add a warm feel so we added the Stampin Up Lace. We distressed the edges of the papers with the cutting tool. To finish our card we added a pearl. What do you think? Kinda fun… Right!
Thank you friends for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings, Brandy
