Step 4: Select the Charlotte, NC RMH
Step 5: Choose a position and Complete Registration
Note ~ This is all done through the Stampin Up demonstrator website under “Making a Difference.”
Please join us in this worthy cause. Here are the various ways in which you can help at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
1. Creative Team: A team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator that volunteer to plan group activities such as card making or scrapbooking. The Creative Team for each session is also responsible for preparing all materials for their session, teaching the class to house guests and cleaning up the crafting space.
- 4 to 5 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators per crafting session
- Every “third” Wednesday of the month. Check Schedule for event dates.
- Each crafting event will be approx. 2 hours plus clean up.
- Event Time is 6:30pm – 8:30pm
2. Stampin’ Up! Product Donations: The Charlotte Ronald McDonald House has given us cabinet space where we can store our supplies used for our card making or scrapbooking sessions.
Stampin Up Donations items needed Include:
- Tape Runner or Tombow
- Scissors
- Bone Folders
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Envelopes
- Embellishments
- Card Stock
- 6″ x 6″ Linen Scrapbook
- Cutting Board
All items used in our crafting sessions have to be Stampin’ Up only!
3. RMHC Currently Needs Handmade Stampin’ Up! Greeting Cards
- Birthday Cards
- Thinking of You
- Thank You Cards
- Envelopes
- Stamps
Note: If your able to make 5 to 10 or more Birthday Cards to donate to the RHM house that would be fabulous! When you finish please let me know and I will arrange pick up or drop off with you. Remember keep them colorful, happy and very cheerful!
4. Cookie Team: A team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators will make cookies, cupcakes or some type of desert for the house guests. The cookie team will be responsible for kitchen & dinning area clean up. By volunteering in this way the RMH house smells good, feels like home and it provides yummy snacks for the guests.
- 3 to 5 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators per session
- 3 Hours or Less Commitment
- Cookie making Sessions will be scheduled in the afternoon

5. Cleaning Team: A team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators will be scheduled to clean the RMH house. As you know keeping a clean environment is extremely important!
- 10 – 20 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators
- 3 Hour Commitment
- Check Schedule for Volunteer Dates
6. Cooking Team: A team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator will be scheduled to cook dinner for the house guests. Our Charlotte RMH House can seat up to 40 people at once. This team is responsible for planning dinner, preparing it, cooking it, serving the guest and clean up.
- 8 -10 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators per session
- 3 to 4 Hours Commitment
- Check Schedule for Volunteer Dates
7. RMHC Household Donations
- Any and ALL Cleaning Supplies
- Baby Supplies: All size diapers, wipes etc. No formula please; however, a gift card to Target for a family to purchase formula is appreciated.
- Laundry Supplies
- Toilet Paper and Kleenex
- Gift Cards to purchase dinner for guests in the event a volunteer group doesn’t arrive to cook dinner for house guests.
If you are interested in volunteering once a month or once every other month please let me know. Maybe your interested in donating supplies that become property of the Charlotte RMHC and are used for their guests. Maybe you are most interested in the Cookie Team, Cleaning Team or all of the above. However you feel called to serve and volunteer will be greatly appreciated!!!
