Stampin Up Hello Blossoms

The inspirational colors of the day are Peach Parfait, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Soft Suede!

My goal was to find a stamp set out of the NEW Stampin Up Summer Mini to use for this challenge. After pulling card stock in all four colors I knew I was going to use the Stampin Up Hello Blossoms Stamp Set.

To Make this card I started with a Whisper White Base. Take note… Unless stated all my card bases are 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. I then started cutting card stock in all the colors. My strips are 1/2″ x 5-1/2″.

I carefully spaced them on the Whisper White base and glued them down. I then used the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder to add the fun polka dot background texture.

The center piece of my card is a piece of 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ Certainly Celery Card Stock . The Soft Suede Card Stock measures 3-1/8″ x 2-1/8″. The Whisper White Card Stock measures 3″ x 2″. I used the Scallop Border Trim to make my scalloped edged trims.

I used Pretty in Pink, Peach Parafait and Certainly Celery Stampin Write Markers to color the Hello Blossoms. I used Stampin Up Jewel Rhinestones for the center. I used a pink and orange Sharpie to color the Jewel Rhinestones for the added effect. The greeting comes from the Stampin’ Up! Messages for Mom Stamp Set.
