2011 PINEHURST GETAWAY
Last year was our first event and it was a blast! The ladies and I had so much fun and we are all anxiously awaiting this year’s Getaway. If you are like the rest of us who are addicted stamping then your going to be so excited to have permission to stamp all day and all night with no interruptions. Woo Hoo!!!
The 2011 Brandy’s Fall Stampin’ Getaway is a day and half of stamping craziness located in the beautiful setting of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
You’ll learn new techniques, make friends and be inspired to take your stamping to the next level. You will have access to all Stampin’ Up! Stamp sets, Punches, Crafting tools and with the latest Stampin’ Up! embellishments you can set your creativity free. You’ll have the opportunity to mingle with fellow demonstrators, stampers, crafters and scrapbookers.

THE CLASSES
This year the classes are going to be full of energy and inspiration! Following the latest in crafting trends we are going to get creative with fabric & ribbon. During the Big Shot class you’ll see its versatility and its capabilities. During our Technique hour you’ll learn three new stamping techniques. Ever wonder how those fun folded cards are made? If so, you’re going to see first hand how easy it is to get clever and get folding.
Don’t worry ladies there will be no judging projects or tests at the end. These classes are designed to inspire you to think outside of the box and take your stamping to the next level. Embrace your creative side and run with it. The sky is the limit!
For those of you still wanting a bit more guidance… feel free to CASE (copy and share everything) my projects or use the other stamps sets available and make something your own. I welcome and encourage creativity!
My goal is to inspire and encourage you throughout the weekend to hone your craft. As you all know, there is nothing like receiving a hand made greeting card or gift in the mail to let someone know that you are thinking of them.
TECHNIQUES
Feel free to use the variety of basic and advanced stamping techniques available here. These techniques will help you add a personal touch to your original stamped creations. We know you’ll enjoy the fun of using these techniques in stamping a variety of craft projects!
BIG SHOT SHOW OFF
The Big Shot and the Big Shot dies offer an amazing multi-purpose cutting system. Cut paper, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, cork sheets, wood sheets and more! During the Big Shot show off class you will have the opportunity to use the Big Shot and it’s many dies.
FABULOUS FABRICS
Let me show you how to use Stampin’ Up! Designer Fabric to add that special touch to your projects. Get ready to be amazed by the ease and flexibility of high quality fabric, just what your creativity needs.
