Brandy’s Fall Getaway will be a day and a half day of stamping craziness in the beautiful setting of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Don’t worry ladies there are no quizzes or tests with these classes, just a great opportunity for you to learn a new technique and push your creativity to the limit!
You are welcome to CASE (copy and share everything) my project or use the other stamps sets available and make something your own. I welcome creativity and encourage it!
My goal is to inspire and encourage you throughout the weekend to hone your craft. There is nothing like receiving a hand made greeting card in the mail to let someone know that you are thinking of them or to just let them know you care.
BIG SHOT SHOW-OFF
The Big Shot and the Big Shot dies offer an amazing mulitpurpose cutting system. Cut paper, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, cork sheets, wood sheets and more! It’s the perfect cutting tool for every project. During the Big Shot show off class you will have the opportunity to use the Big Shot and it’s many dies.
You will make three cards… one using cork sheets, tin, and wood sheets. You will also have enough product left to design your own Big Shot card to show off and submit for a prize!
WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUES
Watercoloring is a beautiful way to express yourself and to add a special touch to your cards. During this class you will learn three different ways to watercolor. You’ll have the opportunity to practice with a blender pen and an aqua painter.
To add color I’ll teach you the proper way to blend your colors with the Stampin Up’s Watercolor Wonder Crayons. We’ll be using the Stampin’ Pastels along with the classic ink pads. We’ll also be “misting” with Stampin’ Up markers. You’ll make three cards using the various techniques on watercolor paper and have enough product left to design your own Watercolor creation.
HEAT EMBOSSING
During this class you will learn how to use heat & stick powder, make a cracked glass effect along with an embossing resist effect. This class will give you confidence to pull out your heat tool and get to work.
You’ll have the opportunity to make three guided projects with enough product left over to make your own embossed card design.
PUNCH ART
This is a super fun class! No cutting, just punching!!! I’ll show you several ways that you can make Stampin’ Up! punches work for you. Enjoy the thrill of a punch challenge by having access to the entire line of Stampin’ Up! punches. I will walk you through three fun punch art cards with enough product left to design you own punch art card and submit it to win a prize!
